Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Dakota

I was drunk and on prescription medication tramadol loracet and prozac. I was on foot and trying to get into my girlfriend's apartment the police showed up because they received a call from a nosy neighbor. The police told me to leave but then I came back. They put me in the back of the cop car and I hit my head and had a major cut above my left eye that required eight stitches. i could not see because of the blood on my face. The cop open the door to his squad car and I spit on the ground. A little bit of blood and spit landed on the cops shoes and a little bit on the bottom of his pant leg. I could not see that the cop was in front of me because of the blood in my eyes. He charged me with a felony. What should I do?.

You need to get a lawyer involved. There are a lot of defenses to this type of charge. But I can guarantee the police reports are going to read different that what you are claiming in your question. Feel free to call, all initial consultations are free.
