Legal Question in Family Law in North Dakota
My ex has our 12 year old daughter for the summer. My daughter called last night and told me he moved her out of the city he was living in. He and his family then all pressured her to swear not to tell me where they are living. He, his sister, and his mother all got together and told her that if I found out he bought a house I'd have his child support reviewed and raised. I am in Virginia and he is in North Dakota.
She has gone against his wish and told me about the move and given me an address, but when I google it I get the small town's local post office, not a residence. What are my legal options?
Our court order states that he must immediately tell me of any change of address. My daughter is supposed to spend the summer with him and technically right now, I don't even know where they are. Please help.
On a side note, I would not and COULD not have his support reviewed at this time, as it was just lowered 2 years ago (at my request because we moved to Virginia) and ND only allows reviews every 3 years and they do them automatically.
