Tribal Custody
My husband who is African American, has a child by a Native American woman, she lives in North Dakota and lives on a Indian Reservation. Can my husband get any kind of custody or does the tribe rule over any laws and has all custody over this child.

Re: Tribal Custody
Indian tribal counsels have control over placement of children with non parents. A parent of a child has certain rights to visitation and contact with their children.
