Legal Question in Investment Law in North Dakota
I was hired full time Jan 1 2010 and was originally told i was not eligible for the company pension plan until Jan. 1 2011. Today, I was told I was eligible for the pension plan beginning Jan 1 2010 and would have to pay for all the missed pension contributions since Jan 1, 2010. I would like to know if the company should pay the missed contributions to the pension plan, since it was their mistake or if I am responsible for the missed contributions.

I don't follow what is mandatory about this pension plan? Why don't you just enter the plan now and thus start contributing now?
