Legal Question in Military Law in North Dakota
i joined the Air Force in Oct. 07 i graduated basic military training and them completed my technical school in Jan. 08, i was then assigned to my first duty station which was Minot Air Force Base in Minot North Dakota... Soon after being in Minot I developed a very hard adjustment period... I began very depressed and it began to show in my military job as well as my social life. I was very angry and hostile all the time, i became disrespectful and i began to stop caring,,, i was placed on depression medicine and in a couple short months the Doctors had raised me to the highest dose possible. It wasnt helping i became suicidal, and no one in my command post took me seriously, by April of 09 i had officialy had it, i tried to OD on vicodin and percocet... I was them placed in an hosiptal for close observations and their determination was release from military service. I got dishcharge for misconduct in May of 09. i miss the military life and i'd love to join the US Army.... is it all all possible....

All you can do (and the best advice) is go see a recruiter and take your discharge paperwork with you. The enlistment rules/messages change constantly. You cannot get shot for asking, so go and peruse your options. The nature of your misconduct discharge will likley determine whether a waiver is possible. Your DD214 should have a reenlistment (RE) code entered on it, and this will denote for the recruiter what options you have, if any.
