drag racing ticket

hello im 17 and was wondering if i have any chance of beating my ticket, me and my friends were traveling one way on a highway then turned around and started going back the other way, he tired around first and floored his car then i turned around my car and floored it, we were at no time side by side, the cop was sitting on the side of the road with out his parking lights on and it was dark out. then he pulled us over when we stopped at a stop light

A lawyer might be able to work out a plea agreement. It doesn't sound like a case you would want to take to trial. You could talk to the prosecutor and see if she/he would offer a lessor ticket to plead guilty to.

If you plead guilty to this racing ticket you will lose your drivers license at least until you are 18.
