Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Dakota
I was stoped by a cop and he told me he was giving me two citations but when I stoped at the court house to pay the ticket I noticed he gave me two duplicate coppies of the same ticket. I paid the one ticket but the clerk took my number in case anything came up. I was contacted by the officer that gave me the ticket wanting me to come by the court house so he could give me the correct ticket. Am I obligated to go meet the officer and receive the second ticket?

If you don't they will mail it or, find you. In theory if they can't find you they could issue a warrant for your arrest.
