Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Dakota
My father recently passed away in Minnesota. I am the only child, however I was adopted by my stepdad when I was 18. It is my understanding that beings I was adopted I have no legal claim to my biological father’s estate. My question is, would my daughter still be next in line for the rightful heir? Or is she not considered because of my adoption?

I'm sorry to hear your dad passed.
I would say your daughter is cut off as well. But you really have to find a lawyer in Minnesota who does this kind of work and ask the question.
Good luck.
