Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Spousal support

I've been married almost 16 years. My husband and I no longer can live together. The problem is I dont make a lot of money and I want to keep my house and kids. He told me I would lose everything and he gets the kids and house and I would have to pay him child support. He makes about 4 times more than me. How is this possible? I want to keep my house and I will pay for it, and I told him I would give him joint custody. He said I wont get any spousal support. Is this true?

Re: Spousal support

Do not let your husband intimidate you into not protecting your rights, and the rights of your children. I suggest you speak with an attorney about all your real options, not just what your husband wants you to believe. By your zip code, I see you live in the Dayton area. The Dayton Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service can give you the names of attorneys to contact: 937-222-6102.

Re: Spousal support

This tactic is all too common. You need a lawyer familiar with Greene County practice and proceedures. I would be more than willing to meet and give you some preliminary advice. You will receive spousal support! Please check our web site.
