Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
Can I get utilities back
I recently filed bankruptcy and included past bills owed to utility companies, can I get service again from the utilities that were included? (included were American Electric Power and Columbia Gas of Ohio)

Yes you can get utilities turned back on in your name. However, the utility may require a new security deposit.

Yes, the utility company will open up a new account and you will have to pay a deposit but they will write off the old acct.
