Legal Question in Disability Law in Ohio

My child is 24 years old and has a brain injury from a car accident during her Sophomore year in college. 5 years later she is 3 months away from getting an associates degree. She has maintained good grades her entire time at school. She must complete 4 more weeks of clinicals this semester followed by 8 more weeks of clinicals next semester. Her professor has indicated many times to my student and her clinical supervisor that my student doesn't have what it takes to pass. 4 weeks in my student feels like she should just quit because they won't even give her a chance. I do understand that my student will need to go about things in a different manor than the norm in order to succeed, however they are not allowing this to be done. I don't see how my student has gone this far with good grades and will not be able to pass because they are not sensitive to her needs. She can finish. They just won't let her. If half way in they thought she couldn't cut it.... why are they still taking our money?
