handicap parking spaces
How does the handicap parking space have to be identified? A ground marker only or a sign that is posted infront of the parking spot?

That will vary depending upon the jurisdiction, which could be at the city level. First stop: city hall. You can also try looking at statutes online, but chances are it will be faster if you ask at the department that handles business licenses. The question might be, "I'm a business owner, thinking of using commercial space. How do I figure out how to display handicap parking, what are the rules?"
