Whether you son is eligible for release on bail depends on several facts: (1) the crime he is charged with; (2) the stage of the criminal proceeding where the charge is at this time; (3) his prior criminal record; (4) whether the charge is a felony or a misdemeanor; and (5) whether the charge is in state or federal court.

Until you know the answer to those questions, you will not be able to figure out whether he can get out on bond or what the bond might be.
