2 debtors, filed bankruptcy in 2008. included husband's credit card debt as well as some joint credit card debt, as well as some joint medical debt. Husband just died. Is surviving spouse now responsible for dec'd husband's credit card debt left on the bankruptcy or can we work with bankruptcy court to have that removed?

You may want to ask your lawyer about converting to a Chapter 7.
