You can file bankruptcy alone without your spouse. However, often times it makes more sense to file bankruptcy with your spouse, especially if both you and your spouse are obligated on most of your debts. Feel free to contact my office at (614) 515-5500 and myself or another attorney can set up a free consultation with you to determine whether it is better for you to file bankruptcy alone or with your spouse.
