Although most attorneys charge flat fees for personal bankruptcy, some cases involve issues that necessitate a departure from those fee amounts. So giving a quote online is something that many lawyers are uncomfortable doing. I would suggest meeting with a competent attorney in person or discuss your case at length over the phone before relying on his or her stated fee.
And payment plans are acceptable to many law firms, but a case will generally not be filed until the initial fee and filing fee have been paid in full.
Good luck.
