Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
deed on a house
My mom and dad signed their house over to their 5 children. One of the children is just about to file for bankruptcy. Will that effect the deed on the house? If so, will it effect the whole house or just his 5th?

It will affect the entire house, as if th 4th is worth more than $ 5000, the trustee can ask the court to order the property sold to pay the debts of the debtor.
