Disability exemptions
Ohio has disability income and insurance exemptions. What is the difference and does this mean my state teachers retirement disability allowance and my husbands va disability would be ignored for the means test?

Re: Disability exemptions
No, you must still include them in the means test paperwork, but they are exempt from attachment to pay creditors by the bankruptcy trustee. Failing the means test does not automatically prohibit you from filing bankruptcy, but you might have to file a Chapter 13 instead of a Chapter 7 if your income is too high.
