I recieved this in the mail, reguarding a former land lord of mine who filed a small claims court claim against me, but the case was over in March and never went to trail because we weren't served, he had no address, and no case. Why did I recieve this, and what if anything does it mean for me in the future?

It appears you have the benefit of a discharge injunction, preventing most creditors from beginning or continuing lawsuits against you to enforce discharged debts. Of course, your issue with the former landlord hinges on whether the debt is indeed dischargeable. Did you list the former landlord on your schedules? And was this a run-of-the-mill collections action in small claims? If the answer is yes to these questions, the landlord is likely enjoined from taking any action against you to collect the debt.
Good luck.
