Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
I may need to file bankruptcy. Im the secondary on my mother mutal fund account, can they go after the money in there? Should I have her take my name off the account?

Don't do anything without discussing this with a qualified bankruptcy attorney. Generally speaking, if your name is on the account for signing purposes but your SSN is not listed with the account, then I would maintain it cannot be your account. If your mother added you to the account with full privileges (i.e. you can deposit and withdraw funds, make changes to the character of the account) and your mother listed your SSN on the account, then that's another matter.
