Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
We Filed Bankrupsy on April 15th 2009 and everything is done now.. then 7 months later we recieve a letter claiming that we are being sued for not paying some lawyer fees almost 2 years ago.. He claims we owed him 2,800 still and is suing us for 10,000. So wouldnt all the money be covered under the bankrupsy protection even tho it wasnt specifically listed.. And it wasnt listed cause we was not aware we owed it.. and ofcourse didnt know we owed money he is asking in the lawsuit.

You may have to re-open your bankruptcy case for the specific purpose of discharging this debt. Arguably, the debt is not currently discharged because the law firm had no notice of the bankruptcy and no opportunity to submit a proof of claim or object to discharge of the debt.
You should follow up with your bankruptcy attorney about this. Good luck.
Did you end up re-opening this case?
