Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
I filed for bankruptcy back in 2007. However, my attorney died before we were ever able to go to court and I never did go through with the bankruptcy. I just noticed on my credit report that the banruptcy is listed! How do I have this removed from my credit report? Nothing was discharged and we never even got scheduled for a hearing.

Generally speaking, you cannot remove the bankruptcy filing from your credit report. It is a matter of public record and was indeed filed. However, it may drop off your report next year if it was a Chapter 13 case. If you filed under Chapter 7, you'll probably have to wait until 2017.
