Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
We filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in 2009. We received a discharge under section 727 of title 11. We received a collection letter form an attorney contracted by J. P. Morgan Chase. This letter is in reference to a HELOC (2nd). Can they forclose?

Chase's mortgage lien may have survived your bankruptcy, even though the note was discharged. But you can still fight the foreclosure.
