Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy last year and was discharged that august.I recently opened a bank account and the bank took money out of my account that they said was an outstanding debt to them from 4 years before my discharge.is this illegal?

Perhaps, you should contact your Chapter 7 attorney and ask him whether:
1. You had a no-asset case or
2. If not, whether the lender was properly listed as a creditor.
If the answer to either of these questions is yes, you may have a claim against the bank for violating the discharge order.
