Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
We filed chapter 13 in Dec. 2006. We got it suspended for three months in the middle of the bankruptcy. Money was coming out of both myself and my wifes checks. In 2008 I lost my job is the reason. 6 months later they upped our payment from 900 to 1200 so the bankruptcy would be paid off in the 60 months. My question is can the trustee extend our bankruptcy longer than the 60 months that was planned for us. I called the trustee office and ask this question and the lady told me that we still our 10,000. Not understanding because everything Ive read online tells me that it should end at 60 months and that's it. Please help. Thanks John
