Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
Filing Chapter 13/Non-Married/Joint on Mortgage
We are a non-married couple joint on our mortgage. We are considering filing Chapter 13 to keep home from going into foreclosure. Do we both need to file or just one of us? And which one? He has a much higher income than I with less creditors.

Re: Filing Chapter 13/Non-Married/Joint on Mortgage
If you can get enough relief from the Chapter 13 to be able to throw enough money at the mortgage payment, he may not have to file.
