My husband has a judgement lien.
My husband has a judgement lien. We are planning on filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy and surrendering our our real estate. Will the bankruptcy remove the lien and if not how long will it follow my husband?

Re: My husband has a judgement lien.
Bankruptcy will not remove it, but just make it unenforceable. The trustee will sell the real estate, and any excess might be available to the lien creditor.
