Income Tax Return; can I keep?
Medina County; OH, Attorney doing Bankruptcy on pro-bono case. Just started. Will I lose my 2003 Federal income tax return approx $3500 & state return $175; wanted to use for down payment for 2 bdrm apt for daughter & I since living in 1 bedroom for 2 yrs now, plus will need for Child Care come April when I'm back to work, tires for auto, etc.

In a word, no. You can only exempt $400.00 in cash from the bankruptcy trustee.
