Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
Judgement Granted
I had a business partner basically commit credit card fraud against myself. I was granted a judgement against him for a certain amount of money. I was in a long line to collect. He filed for bankrupcy and I got nothing. Is this judgement dead or could it be resurrected after a period of time?

Re: Judgement Granted
The judgment cannot be enforced against him because of the bankruptcy discharge. You may be able to collaterally attack the discharge if you can prove fraud in an adversary proceeding in the bankruptcy court, although it may be too late now that the case has been closed.
