Is it legal for a Mortgage Company to hold your check and try to forclose...even when you are all caught up with your payments?

There appears to be something missing from this picture. Are you absolutely positive your mortgage payments are up-to-date and you did not miss something?
I suggest you call the mortgage company and find out what is going on.
