under what chapter can you file and keep your home and autombiles?and discharge a lien that was obtained by your attorney failing to answer, and they got a judgement by default.

Both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 allow you to keep assets and personal property. The chapter of bankruptcy you are qualified to file under will depend on your current income and basic living expenses.
