Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
MY QUESTION IS .......To file Bankrupcy, do I have to be divorced or just legally separated, I am currently living apart from my husband and need to move on this fast. A lean has been placed on my Bank Account and I have two children to care for. ( not of this mariage)

You can file bankruptcy no matter what your marital status. If you are married but not living together, you may be able to avoid using your husband's income in determining whether you can file under Chapter 7.
