Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
Received in mail an official notice of commencement of chapter 11 bankruptcy. This is from my former employer of 27 years that I worked for from 1985 until March of 2012. Why did I receive this? I did not get a severance when leaving this company, although I felt I should of gotten severance. I assumed all ties were cut from my time with this company. Is it possible they owe me some funds?

If you've been listed as a creditor, I would assume there is at least a possibility that you have a claim against the bankruptcy estate.
