Security deposit/Bankruptcy
My landlord had declared Chapter 7, is my security deposit protected?
I have moved out at the expiration of the lease and gave the required notice, but he has not reurned my money or given any reason.

The security deposit is an asset of the bankruptcy estate, but you would be a creditor of that estate with an unsecured priority claim. You will be reimbursed ahead of other unsecured claims, less any damages to the real estate.
