Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Buying a car/not satisfied
A car was purchased on a Saturday afternoon at a dealership and driven home. The following Monday morning (the dealership was not open on Sunday) the dealership was notified that the car was not satisfactory and that the buyer wanted to return the car. The buyer was told that it was too late to return the car. I thought there was a three day grace period to return a purchase. Please advise.

The three day rescission rule does not apply to the purchase of vehicles.

Under the Ohio consumer laws, that period only applies if they come to your home to sell you something. It is not valid if you go to them.
