Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Car Dealership Responsibilities
Traded car to dealership 5 yrs ago. Rec'd letter from Dayton, OH police department regarding this car. The car was never taken out of our name. According to their records, the car was still in our name. Is there something that we should do to make sure we are not held accountable for storage chgs or anything else concerning this car over the past 5 years? Pls advise. Thank you.

Re: Car Dealership Responsibilities
You need to contact the dealership, and find out exactly what they did with the vehicle, being specific with names, times and dates. If it was stolen, was a report filed, and when? Contact the salesman, and talk to him about the details of the sale.
