Man gave me deposit on purchase of auto. Ask me to remove from newspaper ad & not to show others. Next day changed his mind. Wants money back. Is he entitled?

I would say he's entitled to his deposit minus whatever it costs to rerun your ad as liquidated damages, assuming that there was nothing wrong with the car affecting the deal.

Depends, this may be an option. If it is he may have the right to restrict the sale of the vehicle to another person. Consult an attorney.
