Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Copy right infringement
I have a website advertising caps, visors, and T-shirts, with my logo ''That Ain't Right'' for over five years. In December, 2008, at the Jeffersonville Nike Outlet, they had ''That Ain't Right'' T-shirts, with the Nike swoosh for sale. I purchased two of the shirts for evidence. Do I have any legal recourse? Thank you,--name removed--L. Valdez

Re: Copy right infringement
To perfect a copyright, you must have the copyright symbol (a circle with a "c" inside) displayed right next to the item. Also, I don't believe you can copyright a term like "That Ain't Right" because it is to generic. Best regards, Edward DiCato
