Re: emergency warning compliance

Dear Worried:

Without your providing more details, it is impossible to give you an answer other than a definite "maybe"???

What business are you in? What are the legal duties connected with your business, requiring you to provide emergency warnings to your customers? Who are your customers, i.e, in what kind of weather-related businesses are they engaged? What do your contracts with your custiomers, whether written or verbal, provide? What insurance coverage, if any, do you have or require?

These are just a few of the opening questions I'd propose to you in an interview, before I'd even chance an intelligent, reasoned, professional response. Please consult experienced legal counsel ASAP, to do a legal-health checkup; it's probably the least expensive "medecine" you should consider right now!!!

Good luck.

J. Norman Stark, Cleveland, Ohio.
