Faulty Auto Work
On August 31st, I got new tires, struts, halfshafts, and various other parts put onto my car. The next day, my car broke down on a busy interstate. After waiting for the tow truck and paying the expense to take me to the nearest garage, the mechanics stated that the halfshaft was not properly installed. What compensation should I seek? We broke down in a construction zone with concrete barriers on both sides with no place to pull over, placing mine and my passengers life in danger.

You would need to show some actual damage to sue for. It was a bad experience, but fortunately, everything turned out all right. For instnce, if it had caused a crash, then you would have a valid claim for damages. You can insist that they perform a proper repair on your vehicle.
