Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio

How do you fire the President in a Non Profit?

I am the cheerleading commissioner for a little league organization, The president was voted in 2 years ago, and soon after started drama that caused part of the board to resign. Instead of voting in new members, he appointed only a VP, Sec & Treas. He also ''did away'' with the organizations current ByLaws, his two year term is up(accord to said Bylaws) but he refuses to open a vote for a new pres. His quote, ''I own this team, if you try to vote me out, I will shut it down.'' Obv- he does not ''own'' it, but what can we do? Also, according to the last set of ByLaws, I would have been on the board as the cheer comm. can we convene a meeting and just vote him out? Or do we have to do this legally?
