Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
can this happen
I quit my job to open up my own company but my former employer needs me to testify for a law suit for him and after that he plans on suing me for leaving can this be done ?

Anyone can sue anyone else for any reason. If you are subpoenaed to attend, you must appear, or risk being held in contempt of court. He must prove that your leaving his business injured him or it somehow.
