Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Hiring and firing
Hello,
I was interested in your opinion on this matter. I have had a law student tell me that my husband should do all the hiring and firing and that I should not get involved with that. Why shouldn't I be involved with that? He could not give me a straight answer. We have had some issues with past employees and the mix up is basically that we are a small business. Thank you so much for this service. My husband is very seldom at the office and it is basically up to me to handle these things.

Re: Hiring and firing
He may be saying that because your husband owns the business. Is that the case?
