Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
my husband completed a project for a "friend." There was no price agreed on and only a verbal contract. now they are not wanting to pay for the work. what are our rights?

Verbal contracts are worth the paper they are written on.
Price is a material term of any agreement for services. Usually, if there is no price there is no contract. You may be able to go to small claims court and claim something called unjust enrichment but that is long shot unless you have creditable independent evidence that the other party was willing to pay some reasonable amount.
