Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
keeping my company seperate from husband
I am starting my own company and have plans on getting married in 2 to 3 years. The man I am marrying will work for me but does not have any $ or assets in the company. When we get married what do I have to do to protect my company from his very vindictive ex-wife who vows to try to take part of it when we get married? Does the company become a marital asset and will it be taken into consideration when and if his child support is adjusted? If it does become marital property or an intity that she can touch how do I protect myself?
