Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Law suit response on a manufactured product
I manufacture birdcages, a person after 2 years is sueing me for the cages not working properly etc. She has had the birds in them for two years, and was happy. There are not any invoices or written warranty. Just cancelled checks. I went to help here six months ago, and replaced her fans. Can I send a response to this lawsuit myself, and is it advisable. I can not afford a lawyer. It is for $7000 worth of cages. Thank you

If you are a sole proprietor, you can represent yourself, but this is rarely a good idea. If your business is a corporation or limited liability company, the company must be represented by an attorney.
