Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Legally Registered Corporation
I am trying to sue a company who on the pay stub says that they are INC., and the court says that we need to contact the secretary state of ohio to get the statutory agent and address of the person I need to sue. I called and they are not regestired with them and when asked if they could be registered in another state I was put on hold and then told they have to info on this company.
How and to Whom do I go to to make them responsible for not being registered.
The reason for this company being sued is for nonpayment of a vacation check. And since this company says on the paystubs that they are Incorporated the Judge said that we must call the Sec. of State of Ohio which I did and was told they were not registered or in as DBA

Re: Legally Registered Corporation
If they are not registered then they are not a corporation and you have to sue the person who runs the company personally.
