Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
license
I'm a minister who has decided to do the performing of marriage ceremonies as my business. I recently got my Name Reservation for my business from the State of Ohio.
My question is what corp. license should I apply for???
I'm the only person who will be in my business.
Can you help me clear up this headache ???
Thanks.
Rev. Ray

Re: license
The Name Reservation is only good for 60 days. If you have Articles of Organization, you should discuss with an Attorney and an Accountant whether you want LLC or corporation entity. But I would question why you just don't operate as a sole proprietor which is a Schedule C return on your 1040. Surely there is no liability marrying people these days!
