Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
I have an LLC in Ohio and want to transfer to my partner named on the LLC. I was the one who opened the vendors permits and filed tax ID as well as opened bank account for business. We do not have any articles written out. I want to give my balance of business to him but keep a couple items as payment. What should I do and what order? Do I have to cancel the vendors and tax ID or can they be transferred?
Thanks in advance

Dear Business-person: I strongly urge you retain an experienced Attorney ASAP, to assist you in an orderly transfer of your business rights and interests, and to avoid any future conflicts. What you require is a simple process of paperwork, preparing a set of articles, an agreement, and arranging for transfer of assets and liabilities.
There is insufficient space here to answer all of the process and procedures. Retain counsel to assist and advise you. It's worth the small cost in fees to avoid a much larger headache later.
Good luck, Gopd Bless..

J. Norman Stark, Attorney
