Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
How long do I have to license and register my business
I am starting a home-based housecleaning business.I want to test the waters and see what kind of client base I will be able to aquire before I license and register the name, but I dont want still want to be able to file taxes as self employeed.
My question is: How long can I use my business name before I register and license it with the state and still be able to file as self employeed?
I would greatly appreciate any information you have on this subject. Thank You.

There is no requirement for you to file the name or company info. If it's a good name you want to reserve it, that's all.
